How to Play Octadle Grid

Octadle Grid is a daily MMA trivia challenge where players must complete a 3×3 grid by selecting 9 fighters that satisfy both row and column criteria.

How the grid works

Each row and column represents a category. A fighter placed in a square must match both categories at the same time.

Placing fighters

  • Select a square to view eligible fighters.
  • Choose a fighter that meets both the row and column requirements.
  • Once placed, that fighter cannot be used again.

Important rules

  • If a fighter qualifies for multiple squares, you can choose where to place them.
  • If only one fighter fits a specific square, the game may place them automatically.

Modes and timers

Octadle Grid may include multiple difficulty modes and optional timers such as No timer, 90s, 60s, or 40s, depending on your setup.

Strategy tip

Focus first on the most restrictive squares, as they typically have fewer valid answers and are easier to eliminate early.

Octadle Grid rewards careful planning, knowledge, and efficient use of fighters.
